Konbit, Haiti - The Colemans

“Hello friends at WAW!

I am Rachael Coleman and My family and I are missionaries to both Haiti and Jamaica. Since 2015 we have lived full-time in Haiti and just this September are starting a 2nd ministry site in Jamaica. For 7 years in Haiti we have partnered with Haitian pastors, schools, community group, and leaders to see their communities developed physically and spiritually. For 3 years in Haiti we bought in teams to do work with our Haitian partners. We did teacher trainings, we build school offices-desks-benches, we had community parties with feedings and gospel presentations, we began micro-loans, we tutored children, and so much more. When unrest in Haiti spilled over and teams could no longer visit we launched an elderly feeding program, another tutoring program, sponsored breakfast for 2 local churches, showed movies for kids and adults, and so much more. Every day our Haitian staff pay for medical care for people in our community, hep send children to school, and love whole heartedly our community in Haiti. Our heart is the launch a similar ministry in Jamaica. A ministry that trusts the Jamaican people to know what is needed and follows their lead. We will partner with them to meet needs and we will love like Jesus so that people can be introduced to Jesus. Thank you for supporting us! Myanmar, Southeast Asia

Myanmar doesn’t allow for large groups to assembly so the WAW group is going to individual dwellings and taking Gospel to them.

Here is a Tidbit:

We will be using WAW’s support to help a widow who has breast cancer and her left breast has been removed. She is in need of money to take treatment.
She was baptized by me two months ago. She is a single mother and she has two kids to feed.
She can’t work anymore and she doesn’t have anyone to lean on.

May you please convey this message to WAW and give them our love and gratitude.
